PVC Insulated Cables
PVC Insulated Single and Multi-Core Cables are widely used in low-voltage applications. They feature thermoplastic PVC insulation and electrolytic copper conductors. Manufactured according to IEC, VDE, and BS standards, they are available with solid (stranded) and flexible (multi-stranded) conductor options for various applications.
General Features of PVC Insulated Cables
Good Electrical Insulation: PVC provides high electrical resistance and safe insulation.
Flexibility: Easy to install due to its flexible structure.
Flame Retardant & Fire Resistance: Can be made fire-resistant with flame-retardant additives.
Chemical and Moisture Resistance: Resistant to acids, oils, water, and certain chemicals.
Wide Range of Applications: Used in internal wiring, industrial applications, automotive, and power distribution.
Cost-Effective: More affordable compared to alternative insulation materials.
For Fixed Installations: Solid conductor (H05V-U, H07V-U) → Used in conduit and internal building wiring.
For Flexible Installations: Flexible conductor (H05V-K, H07V-K) → Suitable for panels, moving machinery, and industrial applications.
For High-Temperature Applications: Heat-resistant PVC (H05V2-K, H07V2-K, H05V3-K, H07V3-K) → Rated for 90°C and 105°C applications.
For Household Appliances and Mobile Applications: H03VV-F, H05VV-F → Extension cords, home appliances, small electrical devices.
For Tight Spaces and Flexible Mounting: H03VVH2-F, H05VVH2-F → Flat flexible cables for limited-space applications.
